Colts V. Broncos: The Return of Peyton Manning

Due to the good fortune and opportunity provided by the Hemophilia of Indiana, Mama and Daddy got to attend a very special Colts game last weekend. It was the first game back for the long-time quarterback of the Colts Peyton Manning who now plays for the Denver Broncos. Horse vs. horse, the Colts still won after a very exciting 39-33 game!

This littlest Colt wanted in get in on come action too...

Port-Te-Port

(pronounced in your best Swedish chef accent...)

There comes a time in a young man's life when he wants to get out and explore his world. Well Mr. Emmett, since you have hemophilia and need your factor medication more often now to protect your joints and organs, let's get you a port of your very own. This allows Mama to get you the medicine you need to conquer the world, just like your big brother.

Apple Pickin' & Pumpkin Patchin'

Elias' preschool gets to go on many field trips. Mama and Daddy were able to attend a trip to the apple orchard this year.

A couple of weeks later, Oma (who was in town for Emmett's surgery), got to go to the pumpkin patch.

 Lots of fall fun!

Double One--Yes, Emmett's 11 months!

A year ago, the weather was getting colder, the leaves were changing and Mama was becoming very impatient to meet our little monkey. Well he's been with us for 11 months now and is the most happy and silly boy.

He loves his brother and they feed off each other. Every night at dinner they love to go into a screaming call and return. Lovely.

Early words! Emmett can say "Thank you", "Here you go", "Ma!", "Daddy", "E-yai" or Elias, "Cat" as well as sing his own made up songs frequently.

He loves music, especially watching LIVE musicians. He loves toys that sing songs and light up. He loves cars/trucks/diggers/anything with wheels to push around.

He can scale to pull up on about every surface possible including flat walls. He can climb up steps but thinks that going down is face first. Oh vey!

He is very affectionate and when he hugs you, he pats your shoulder. Such a smootcher and snuggler.

STATS:
Weight: 24.4 lb. (81st percentile)
Height: 30 inches (72nd percentile)
Finally slowing down a bit. Whew!

Ein Prosit....
