All Aboard the Easter Bunny Express!

Today we went to visit the Easter Bunny. But to get to him and the magical Easter egg patch, we had to board the Easter Bunny Express....

Elias was so skilled at hunting Easter eggs that he found the coveted Golden Egg...

 It didn't buy him entrance to Wonka's factory, but he got to chose a train from the gift shop.

At the end of the day, we got to meet the Easter Bunny...however, like meeting that jolly guy from Christmas Elias was not so keen on the idea of an oversized rodent.

Wine, Wooks, and Work

Well, sadly Butler lost a very sad battle. We have just now come out of the depression of it all. So to get over all the let down, we have been up to a few things here in the barrel.

 Lot's of work is happening around the barrel. Our neighborhood is getting a walk/bike trail connecting us to all of downtown and the rest of Indianapolis/Carmel by way of non-car. So we've had a few visitors in the neighborhood which for an almost-two year old is quite awesome.

 Plus doing a bit work on our own. The vegetable garden is in and now we wait to see what grows...

Dawg Dayz

Sorry for such a long delay in posts. We have been very busy around the barrel with travels to Chicago, celebrating the victories of our Butler Bulldogs, and having a very special guest.

Earlier this week, Mama went to Chicago for the American Burn Association Conference OT/PT Meeting so Daddy and Elias explored Chicago's finest underwater friends.

Our Butler Bulldogs have made it to the end of the NCAA Tournament again! we are so excited for our Dawgs.  Daddy is currently in Houston watching the Championship games in person.

Here's to our Dawgs in the hopes that they win a National Championship Title!

Celebrations on the home front

In Daddy's absence, we have got to enjoy Gram who came ALL the way from Arizona as a special treat.  Elias has played hooky from school and they have been enjoying each other's company.

We took a nice trip to the zoo...

And we played in the yard while getting ahead on our Spring time gardening including putting in a raised garden (not shown). We have had a wonderful time and look forward to our Bulldogs winning!
