This past week was the start of a new school year for our oldest monkey. We can't believe he is now in First Grade! Ms. Beaumont is his teacher and she was the teacher of choice for both Elias and us. We are looking forward to an exciting year.

One of the great things of going to your neighborhood school, which just happens to be the only school on the
Cultural Trail, we can ride to school! Elias even got a new golden (snitch/HP) helmet this year to match his Harry Potter backpack! Not to mention the fact he chose all Gryffindor colors for school shirts this year.
Meanwhile, Emmett got a couple of days off school, so on Mama's day off, we got to have a Mama-Son Day Date. By bike, we went to the
zoo, the
Central Library (to get his first Library Card), and then to fro-yo with all the CFIers.

This weekend, we got to hang out with the Hemophilia community during the state Annual Meeting. We finished off the weekend at Grandma's and Grandpa's and perfected some new skills: SWIMMING! Look at our brave monkey who is now swimming!!!!
