This is Two!

Happy Birthday Little Emmett! You are so full of life and adventure. You are expressive and artistic. You love to talk, eat foodie foods, sing/dance/perform. You have given us so much in your two years.

The next few shots are from his photo session with Mama's phone. His point of view and artistic expression behind the lens…..

This kid loves to eat! He is a genuine foodie, just like Daddy!

We had a little Rescue Truck birthday party for him over the weekend. A grand time was had by all!

Bowie even got a cupcake!

Stats:

Height: 35 inches (72nd percentile, or a little above average)
Weight: 25.6 lbs (19th percentile, or skinny)

Happy Birthday Emmett!!

Run Elias, Run!

There goes that fast little monkey again! Breaking records and making history!

Elias completed the Kids' Monumental Marathon (1 mile race) this past weekend as part of a training and running program at his school. This boy loves to run! He came in first for his school and second in all he kids for his distance. Dad estimates about a 8 minute mile. He was able to win big this year! We are very proud of our boy!

Trick or Treat

Boo! Time for Halloween when we get to decorate pumpkins and more importantly, dress up. Our barrel loves some Halloween!

First up: The Pumpkin Patch.

Success!

Next Up: Mama and Daddy dress as the Fitzgeralds to raise money for CFI

Neighborhood Fun: Fletcher Place Halloween Party

How about decorating those pumpkins? This year we got all Pintersty and painted them with chalkboard paint. Then when they were dry, the boys colored them. Of course, Elias' was Harry Potter!

At school on Halloween Day, Elias performed in the Kindergarten Nursery Rhyme parade and show.

It's Jack! Where's Jill?

He did a great job!
The evening of Halloween, Mother Nature played a trick on us all again. Rain, freezing temperatures, and yes, SNOW! Our trick-o-treating was short and sweet. But we had a sweet thing to come home to...

Happy Halloween!

Our Barrel Just Got Bigger!

Just when you think there is enough love to go around and life is settling down….

Meet Bowie! The newest and furriest monkey in our barrel! He came to us via a pet rescue. We are not sure what his life was like before us, but he is the perfect pup for us. He's 2 and they are calling him a  terrier/cattle dog mutt. We just think he is plain cute!

Meeting Bowie (former ally known as Tazer) for the first time

Our barrel of love is bursting at the seams!

California Celebrations

For Fall Break, we took a trip to California for a big celebration. On October 5th, Uncle T and Aunt M got married! All the festivities were fun and fabulous. Good times was had by all!

So where's platform 9 3/4, mom?

Mama flew alone with the little monkeys. Thank Heavens for tablets!

Mama got her Martha on with rehearsal dinner decorations
Since the rehearsal still fell within the real Oktoberfest period, we decided to all continue our festivities during the wedding rehearsal and dinner.

Practicing!
