Dino Celebrations...Happy Birthday Elias!!!

We have started to begin the celebrations for Elias' birthday with a little party gone prehistoric:

Mama told a story to all the kids about a big dinosaur that came the night before and laid eggs filled with baby dinosaurs in the yard.  It was their job to find all the baby dinos.

Summer has come and so we cooled off in the pool.

Today We Honor Super Mama

Happy Mother's Day! We honored our Mama today by letting her sleep in and not having to cook all day. We went to visit family in Wabash and had a lovely afternoon.

Mama is feeling much better these days. The nausea and vomiting has been absent for a full week (although the headaches have not). Super Baby enjoys a daily Coke which helps keep them at bay (at least the migraines). Mama was very busy the last week + some days getting certified in lymphedema treatment and has gained more letters after her professional name. Here's to Mama...

Onward to the Second Chapter!

This week marks the end of the first trimester for Super Baby's development. This pregnancy has been spent a little more sick and very tired, so Mama has not been able to post as much. Things of note: Super Baby craves all things sweet and savory (sweet red rooibos tea, bacon, chocolate, and all things sugar-coated.) The brilliant Dr. S says that things are looking good. SB's heartbeat is strong and was 175 bpm at the first ultrasound. Also, Super Baby is also showing a little sooner:

Eggs and Trains and Easter Games

This Easter weekend we decided to seek out said Easter Bunny. We hear he is a bit like Santa in that he provides special treats. However these treats are a little more sneaky and we have to hunt for them. We decided to take the train to his special patch to find some treats.

We also went to celebrate our friend E's first birthday.

On Easter morning the Bunny brought EXTRA SPECIAL treats, including a real-life looking dinosaur set! He hid it on the train table and Elias found it with joy!

Later we hosted church brunch and included our own Easter Egg hunt. 

We hope that everyone enjoyed their Easter weekend as much as we have.

Hatching Soon!

We've been hiding a secret that we can no longer keep. All of us in the barrel are filled with love, joy, and excitement that we are bursting from the seams. This Easter we are Blessed by new beginnings and expanding our love (and family).

Spring into some fun with friends!

 Spring has definitely exploded! March was the warmest ever on record in over 100 years...

We enjoyed 80 degree weather days, of course with a little help from our friends...

Getting our green thumb on...

March Madness. Although our team (the Bulldogs) did not have a great year, the "red team" made up for it. Elias likes the red team, Daddy may think it's because it's Indiana. Mama thinks its just because Elias' favorite color is red.

Outdoor picnics 

For Spring Solstice, Elias and Mama took a walk at the IMA 100 Acres Park. We happen to come upon a kite festival and play by Jim Henson's daughter. Elias loved making and flying his new kite.

Adelirim are Elias' good friends. They come over to play often. 

One evening, Mama took out all her old dance shoes and taught some ballet. Everyone was naturals. Elias' loved the pointe shoes, but most of all Mama's tap shoes...
