Wedding Bells in Jersey

Auntie C and Joe had a quiet little wedding ceremony mid December 18th. Mama and Emmett got the opportunity to travel all the way to NJ to be there for their special day.

Mama got to read a special story about the love of Auntie C and Joe. She held it together, for the most part.  The whole ceremony was simple and beautiful in front of their tree in their apartment. They celebrated after with a nice dinner and then Emmett and Mama flew home.

Real gas lights!

What an exhausting weekend!

Toys from the Aherne family Christmas!

Coal or Candy? The Search for Santa

Since we like to celebrate little aspects of our German heritage during the Christmas season, the boys put their shoes on the fest of St. Nick in hopes of candy and not coal.

The boys were good this year and here are the toys to prove it.

We got a nice snowfall to kick off our Christmas season. We headed down to Monument circle to mail Mr. Claus a letter with toy intentions….

Let's see if Elias has made the Naughty or Nice List….

So we headed to the local Indiana State Museum, where we heard Santa was hanging out to find out.

Santa's Train

The new mammoth exhibit was across from Santa, so we stopped to dig...

Houston, we have a walker!

Just before The Stowers Clan left following Emmett's baptism, our little monkey decided that evening to stand and walk. He has not stopped ever since.

Meanwhile Mommy was doing a little dancing of her own….

Cheers to Motus' 10 Years!

'Tis the Season...

…to be jolly and busy! Fa, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la. We have been so busy here in the the barrel that we have not had to chance to share it all until today. Happy New Year friends and family! Here's a few highlights from the last few weeks in our holiday strung barrel in a series of posts.
