Summertime in the City

Summer has been a busy one! So busy Mama has forgotten to update you all on our adventures. So bear with her as she rolls out a couple of posts to highlight the first half of our summer...

Getting dirty...

It was a perfect evening of eating, drinking and celebrating the zoo.

Our own zoo. Emmett really loves Page.

This year also marked the return of our neighborhood's Italian Festival. This event is hosted just blocks away at the local Catholic Church.

No goldfish this year....

Gun-slinger!

It has been a very mld and lovely summer around here. We have tried to just take time to just enjoy life.

Let's Go Fly a Kite!

Spring Fever Portraits

A Few weeks back we ventured to the lovely gardens of the Indianapolis Museum of Art and the Lilly House and Gardens to have a little photo shoot of our family. Our talented photographers were able to capture the love and humor of our family once again.  It was a lovely spring day and the rain held off right until we were done.

A very special thank you to Crowe's Eye Photography for catching these precious moments in our lives...

It's a Bird...It's a Plane...It's Super Baby!!!

Hello readers of the barrel chronicles! Our little Emmett flew into 7 months old yesterday. So here's our little update in case you were wondering how he's progressing.

Hot Days

Cool Shades

Emmett loves to play with paper and mylar

Our big man is almost 22 lbs (90th percentile).
He loves to eat!

For the love of the ball

Working on those crawling skills, but not quite yet....

Still no teeth. We think his only emotion is happy and smiling. He has perfected the hi/bye parade wave (although we have not gotten it on camera--he tends to stop and grin...) He loves his brother and they spend their days laughing at each other. Sometimes, we are not sure over what. Brotherhood, we guess. Emmett is talking a bit--saying E-ya-ya-ya (Elias), Da-Da (about a week ago), and today finally Ma-Ma!
