Kick Back and Relax...Enjoy the Ride

Much of our trip to Northern California was an escape from our busy barrel to enjoy the slow-paced vacation life. We really found this in the spirit of Sonoma, California.

Eat, Drink, and Be Married

Last week we took a special trip in celebration of Mama and Daddy's 5th Wedding Anniversary. On a plane once again, we flew to meet Oma, Opa, Uncle T and Miss M in Northern California's wine county. It was a very lovely weekend and we were able to have lots of fun. So please follow this little series of posts as we chronicle our adventures from the week.

One of the highlights for this trip was obtaining a table at the French Laundry through Jason's mentor. We thoroughly enjoyed this study of gastronomy. Here is the visual summary of our experience:

The service was by far one of the best experiences we have every had in dining. Uncle T fondly called the staff ninjas as their choreographed dances of plate drop, pick up, and table service was beautifully executed in that we felt that they were never there. The server and sommelier were fun, witty, and proper. All adding to the delightful experience.

The parting treat for the next morning...perfect with morning coffee...
